Our school was founded in 1954 by the sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart, who are often referred to as the ‘brown Joes’ for their distinct habit. Saint Mary MacKillop founded this order, hence the MacKillop sayings that encapsulate our school values. Mary MacKillop’s feast day is celebrated on 8th August and we will have a special liturgy at school on this day.

Touch Rugby will run on Wednesday afternoons in Term 4, from 21 October to 2 December 2026, with 9 December reserved as a rain date. Games will be played at 4:00pm, 4:30pm, 5:00pm or 5:30pm.
Grades:
The cost is $30 per child.
Where possible, students will be transported to the venue in the school van. However, parents will need to collect their child from the park after their game.
We will also need parent volunteers to help coach and manage our teams. If you can support a team, please let us know when registering your child. Your help will be greatly appreciated and is essential for our teams to participate.
